Anthropological, Ecological, and Geological Interdisciplinary Sciences (AEGIS)

AEGIS brings together researchers from a wide variety of disciplines and institutions, both public and private, who share the goal of applying cutting-edge scientific techniques to the study of the human biological, cultural, and environmental past.  Our goals are to provide a forum for the presentation of original research and the exchange of ideas, and to provide training and professional experiences for graduate students.  We implement these goals through the AEGIS Interdisciplinary Graduate Group, which sponsors a lecture series, short courses, and community outreach.
